I have used a Fat32 formated USB 2.0 stick and placed the bin file in the root of the usb stick.
When trying to perform the software update the TV shows:

Name: 0x5CA9                                        > this message occurs when trying to do the update without insert an usb stick
creation time:  2017-07-03 16:46:45       >

and in the background: update file not found

Is it necessary to rename the bin file to a special name and if yes, how ?

Hmm, what does it mean ?

I thought that is file is to do the firmware update for Blaupunkt 236/207o-gb-3b-egbqu-eu via USB stick.

So, does it mean it's not working ?

Could you please provide me a working file to update the firmware with an USB stick ?

the changed sequence of tv channels disappears.
For that reason I am looking for a firmware update which maybe would fix that.

I just did the factory reset.
The LCN is disabled.
now I am doing the initial channel search and build up.
I will check later.
